Our second annual open house event will showcase Smith Metal Works of Newark’s standing in our hometown, the types of manufacturing we perform, and why our work is important to our customers, dealer network, and community!

Thursday, July 30th at our facility at 1000 E. Union Street Newark, NY. 8 AM to 3 PM.
What’s There to Do
Our guests that attend can tour our facility, meet the people that produce our products, meet the owner of a small business that has been running for 80 years, and get a close up look at our products. Possibly see a demonstration of our New Fiber Laser Cutter. Meet your neighbor, share a meal from a local vendor. WIN DOOR PRIZES!!
Why An “Open House”
Our first open-house event last year was a qualified success! So, we open the doors again this year!
Smith Metal Works of Newark has been a staple in this community for over 80 years of rich history. DID YOU KNOW – we produced the very first electric spreader, right here in Newark?
We have a robust dealer program that extends west to Michigan, as far south as Virginia and our spreaders can be found as far north as Alaska. If you’re in the salt spreading business and located in America’s “ice belt” there’s a good chance you’ve heard of us, and possibly even done business with us!
On the custom metal fabrication side of things, we are proud to be our area’s “go-to.” We work with various industries, many municipalities, farmers, hospitals, whether it’s for a piece of steel, specialty items, fasteners, pipes or the next truck to be outfitted with a Smith Sander.
We will fix that lamp, lawn mower deck, railing but we also will produce/repair that conveyor line you have at your factory.
